I'm a professional Drummer, Percussionist and Music Director who's been in the industry for over 20 years. I've toured Europe and the States multiple times with different projects. I'm a quick learner and I always bring good creative contribution to your music. I see music like a canvas to lay down layer of paint on, for this reason I tend to appreciate minimalistic drumming as I want my playing to serve the music and the lyrics in all its beauty. I've been playing drums since I was very little, my dad was a drummer too which made me love this instrument to its maximum. Since I moved to London in 2011 I had the opportunity to play and record for great composers and bands, one of which is my original project Rival Karma. Nevertheless I always intend to extend my musicality to multiple projects, as music is life and happiness and that's why I believe that talent should be shared, to learn and teach everyday. I had the opportunity to share the stage with great musicians such as Stuart Zender (Jamiroquai), Marsela Cibukaj (The voice), Nico Casal (Composer), Rufus Miller (Sting) and many others. I have my own studio where I record remotely and I film live sessions in North London. Through remote recording I've also gained a good deal of experience as a sound engineer and video maker which I'm always happy to bring into new projects. I have my own gear which consist in: multiple snare drums (mostly vintage), multiple drum kit and A LOT of cymbals to make sure that I have the right sound for any scenario. I've worked as MD for Rival Karma and Sophie Kilburn for many years, during which I've learned how to work behind the scenes as arranger and music director. I use a U track 24 to split backing tracks and clicks with the rest of the band. I should mention that I also have a vehicle and I'm always willing to travel to work on new projects and tours. My degree in creative musicianship helped me developing a new creative side of my music, teaching me how to push the boundaries and always trying to be authentic. If I had to describe myself as a musician I would proudly say that I'm not a conventional drummer. I hear everything that happens in the music and I always try to come up with idea to make it special! Getting along with people I work with is a must, I'm a very down to earth person and definitely a good listener. Spending many moons on tour taught me the music is about balance, and that is what I live by.

My sister got married in August and as her Maid of Honour I took on organising the live music! So I contacted PJ after seeing him perform at a Freshers event in London and he really made the entire process so stress free - he put a five piece band together in a matter of days and was completely accommodating with any additions/changes I wanted to make to the set list! The band arrived ahead of time and had the stage set up in under 20 minutes and they all looked super professional in full suits, even on the hottest day of the year! I had spoken to PJ about the idea of wedding guests jumping on stage to perform a song here and there and he ensured the band were fully prepped for this! So many people made positive comments about the live music and there wasn't a time that the dancefloor was empty! The whole band were smiling the entire night and it was clear to see that they were genuinely really enjoying themselves which was so lovely to see! I had such a great experience working with PJ, he was accommodating, friendly, accessible and just an absolute joy to work with! I can't wait for an opportunity to work with him again!

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I'm very flexible depending on the conditions of the booking. However I'd like to be informed within 48 hours prior the performance if there are any changes such as timing or cancellations.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I can provide music before and after the performance if agreed upon, for additional £100 per night. The music will run for 30 mins each set, If longer service is required we'll have to agree on a price for it beforehand.

How much time do you need to set up?

My set up time is very easy and it takes max 25 for drums. If it's full band we can set up and soundcheck within 40 mins

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

My set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, I'm definitely happy to chat through and make sure I find what works for your event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

I will bring my own equipment (Drums, Percussions) but I won't provide PA and sound engineer. unless the client requests it beforehand and agree on a sperate budget for it.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

This can be discussed beforehand, but generally speaking I'm familiar with most of the corporate setlists.
