I deliberately started up violin at the age of six in a local music school, although none of my family members were musicians. I then started my ten-year Bachelor at the Conservatoire of Matera at the age of 9, where I studied all aspects of musical theory and performance. My teachers include well-known italian violinists such as Mauro Tortorelli and Duccio Ceccanti. Throughout the course I had a great deal of orchestral and chamber music experience besides solo training, often leading the student orchestra. Some of the most important concerts with the orchestra were at the Berliner Philharmoniker and at the Laiezhalle in Hamburg. I graduated in October 2015 with the highest marks, and shortly after auditioned at the Royal College of Music in London, where I currently study with Professor Maciej Rakowski.
