Phill Marshall is a well-known Lennon impersonator in Britain and is also an accomplished musician and songwriter in his own right. He is famous for his likeness with Lennon himself and his "electrifying" performances. His mannerisms and his singing voice also resemble that of John Lennon. He does shows with a mix of pre-recorded backing tracks and fully acoustic numbers playing all the Beatles top hit songs and also Lennon’s solo career most famous numbers. Audiences in Britain have been mesmerised by his performances. Now Phill also formed The Plastic Memory Band and have done numerous shows with a full backing band.

Phill Marshal is by far the best John Lennon Tribute I’ve ever seen and I met Lennon himself back in the day in Liverpool. Phill’s voice, mannerisms, accent and the atmosphere he creates when performing Lennon’s songs is second to none. Noel Nevin, owner of The Cavern Freehouse .

I’ve seen Phill Marshall as Lennon live a few times now and both with a backing band or on his own with or without backing tracks he’s absolutely incredible. It’s like watching John Lennon himself coming back to life. You shut your eyes and can hear John then you open your eyes and bang, he’s there. All the mannerisms, the sound of his voice, the accent, the wit, I’ve never seen anything like it, and I’m a big fan of all live music and tribute shows especially the Beatles. Absolutely fantastic Phill, thank you for bringing John Lennon back to us!❤️❤️
