Philip has been coming to play for us here at Parkview for the last year. Each time he comes the lounge is full sometimes with standing room only for the carers! Philip has a vast knowledge of classical music and always introduces the music before playing it often giving an interesting fact or something to listen out for during the performance. Each time Philip has played the residents always ensure he is booked again to play for us soon. Philip plays a variety of different music not just classical and all he plays are carefully picked for the audience. Philip is very friendly, professional, and reliable. He will brighten up the residents’ days I recommend him very highly and are we here at Park View care home are very privileged to have such a high standard musician for such an affordable price. Should you wish for any further information please do not hesitate to contact me Lucy Jukes Wellbeing Manager Parkview Care Home

Customer questions

Do you have different line-up options?

I can play solo, but usually play with backing tracks. I have 'access' to many professional players if a different line up is required

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I'm happy to be flexible as much as possible, but everything needs to be discussed in advance... Mutual respect and communication always gets the best results (and I've learnt this from 41 years of marriage myself!)

How much time do you need to set up?

Usually 30 minutes is plenty, unless I have to climb a mountain (or lots of stairs)!

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Very happy to discuss the pieces. Equally happy to add pieces, given enough notice to locate the music and backing tracks

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

I bring everything I need, including my chair!

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Yes, with notice
