Petford Ensemble

The Petford Ensemble, formally Petford Duo, is a modern classical-pop fusion string group consisting of highly trained musicians, each having studied at the best Conservatoires across the UK. Comprising of Violins, Violas, Cellos and Piano, the group is hugely flexible to cater to any arrangement of ensemble you desire for whatever the event may be! Performing all genres of music, varying from Classical to light Jazz as well as Modern Pop and Film scores, the Petford Ensemble will fit right in for any event! Founder's Josh Mountford and Aleksandar Petrov, cellist and violinist respectively, originally formed the Petford Duo in 2019. After having huge success performing across the UK and abroad at a variety of events, parties, weddings, the dynamic duo expanded their forces to become a larger ensemble. This allows a huge amount of versatility to fit any occasion. All the musicians who play for Petford Ensemble have a passion for delivering the highest quality live performances, that will make whatever the occasion a memorable experience for all.
