Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Clients love the soulful, authentic energy I bring to every event. I create the perfect atmosphere, whether it’s an intimate gathering or a lively party. My ability to blend jazz, soul, funk, and pop, along with my skill in reading the room, ensures a unique and engaging experience every time.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I’ve performed at top London venues like Corinthia, The Savoy, The Rosewood, The Dorchester, Crazy Coqs, The Four Seasons and many more luxury hotels in London. I’ve also played at exclusive private events, boutique parties, and luxury yacht charters across the UK and internationally.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

My influences span jazz, soul, and funk, including Nat King Cole, Ray Charles, Amy Winehouse, Jamie Cullum, John Legend, and Quincy Jones.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

One of my most prestigious gigs was by chance, performing at a luxury hotel residency with Gregory Porter. Playing alongside one of my biggest inspirations is something I'll never forget or get over!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I understand that event schedules can shift. Small changes (within an hour) are usually fine, but for significant timing changes, please let me know as soon as possible so I can accommodate. If extra waiting time is required, an additional fee may apply.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes! I can play background music through my PA system before, between, and after my live sets to keep the atmosphere going.

How much time do you need to set up?

For solo performances, I need around 30-45 minutes to set up and soundcheck. If I’m performing with a full band, we usually need 60 minutes, depending on the venue.

If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?

Absolutely! If the venue has a well-maintained acoustic piano, I’m more than happy to use it. In this case, I offer a reduced rate, since I won’t need to bring my own keyboard.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes! You can select your favorites from my setlist, and I’ll tailor the performance to suit your event. If you have a particular order in mind, just let me know in advance.

Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?

Yes, I can bring my own stage piano and sound system if the venue doesn’t have one. This is included in my pricing unless there’s a suitable acoustic piano available.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Of course! If there’s a special song you’d like me to perform—like a first dance or a meaningful track—I’m happy to learn it. Within reason, I offer this in the fee, but custom requests can be accommodated too for an addition fee to cover rehearsal and preparation.
