Peter Joannou's singing event is a brilliant, feel-good burst of Brighton charm —lively, entertaining, and full of personality. His voice, confidence, and showmanship make it a proper standout.

Peter Joannou, Brighton’s famous Singing Barber and certainly an icon in Brighton! Peter puts on a fabulous show, ‘Live On The Lanes’ twice a month on a Saturday evening at 6pm where he sing’s from his balcony and certainly draws a crowd. The show is Beamed around the world and great to see people tuning in! Our Dance School & Club, Dance Central and Jive Central, love to support Peter a couple of times a year and enjoy dancing in the street whilst Peter is singing Frank Sinartra, Tony Bennett, Dean Martin & many more, much loved popular tracks. Peter’s show is certainly an experience and nothing else in Brighton compares to it! Peter hold’s the crowd for the full duration (around 90 mins) and every show raises Much needed monies for charities. It is quite clear that Peter is passionate about his music and that certainly shines through. To watch Peter in action together with the enjoyment and participation from The crowd, singing and dancing together is pure joy to witness. Peter offers total escapism for the duration of his show and bonds Brighton like no other! We are proud to have Peter as a member of our Dance Club, Jive Central and we have had the pleasure of having him performed at our Club. Our members enjoyed dancing various genres Genres that Peter cover’s and kept the dance floor busy. Peter even learnt House Of Bambo for our club as it has been a big hit on the dance scene. It is quite clear that Peter is dedicated to his singing. He is extremely professional and an absolutely pleasure to work with. Peter is much loved by all our members. He is a true gentleman with the biggest heart. We are always very happy to support him and we will continue to do so in the future.
