I have a unique uncluttered, unhurried performing and arranging style which is ideal for Restaurants, Weddings, Parties, Corporate gigs and more. I qualified with a jazz degree from Leeds Music College in 1995 and have been gigging and teaching in London ever since. My versatility is my strength and I can play a wide cross section of genres.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

They tend to appreciate the uniquely arranged personal songs which I really enjoy creating and performing. I'm a very accommodating musician and get on well with clients and other professionals. My clients also love my wide variety of songs and genres which includes jazz, classical, contemporary, pop, bossa nova, reggae and blues.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Undoubtedly, Martin Taylor, Joe Pass, Tommy Emmanuel, Grant Green, John Scofield, Wes Montgomery and Steve Howe to name a few. I also like David Bowie, The Meters, Genesis, Yes and Camel.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

No problem. Just let ma know asap and I'll rejig the timings as best I can.

How much time do you need to set up?

My set up time is fairly minimal and straightforward. I just need a relatively small space and about 20 minutes to check my sound...I normally bring two guitars (a jazz guitar and a nylon string classical guitar) which both go through the same amp.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Absolutely!....it's your gig. My set list comprises songs I've played a lot and is continuously updated. You can also choose eight personal, favourite songs, five of which I will endeavour to arrange and play for you.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes!....I bring my own guitars (two), an amp amp a mike.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Yes!....I offer clients a choice of eight new, personal songs which I can arrange and play for you. I really like doing this since it adds to me repertoire and, of course, keeps my clients very happy. I normally put my own twist to new, client-requested songs which always goes down well.
