I'm a live looping solo acoustic artist performing covers from the 60s to today with a repertoire to adapt to my audience. My main selling point is my voice which is powerful with a bluesy rasp and drips with the emotion of each song. The looping adds percussion and layers of harmony and my arrangement experience allows me to adapt songs to be performed with a looper without compromising the audiences enjoyment or taking too long to build. I began playing solo 18 months ago but I've been gigging for 10 years in bands. I've played at pubs, venues and festivals for private and public audiences with crowds ranging from just the bar staff to 7000 people. I think I'm at roughly 400 gigs now. I'm comfy chatting with the crowd both on and off stage, engaging and bringing them into the show. For the last 5 years I've been the sound engineer for my bands and have been hired as purely a sound engineer from this too so my shows are always well mixed whether I have assistance or not. I'm also a peripatetic teacher as well as owning a music school so I'm DBS checked and comfy with kids of all ages.
