Penelope studied at Durham University and Trinity Laban Conservatoire. She has a range chamber, orchestral, contemporary and cross collaborative experience. She has played with Universities of London Symphony Orchestra, London Graduate Orchestra, Covent Garden Chamber Orchestra and side by side with the BBC Concert Orchestra and the Philharmonia among other projects. Penelope has also been selected to play in masterclasses with Celia Craig and Patrick Flanaghan. Since moving to London Penelope has played at St Jude's Proms, the Bloomsbury Festival, Maida Vale Studios, Cadogan Hall, LSO St Luke's and the Barbican. Community and outreach work includes BBC Proms family workshops, Street Orchestra Live and the Nevis Ensemble. Penelope is grateful to have been supported through Trinity College London, Alice Gertrude Pauline Hartley, Robert Stopford Westminster, the EMI Sound Foundation, the Macfarlane Walker Trust and the Carne Trust.
