Composer and classical guitarist. Paulo began to play at the age of six, won awards in various competitions and participated in the Biennale Art of Triângulo where his composition "A Frasca" was selected from more than 400 artists of Minas Gerais, Brazil. He received the "Revelation Award" at the national guitar contest Jocadil Damaceno, Uberlândia-Brazil as well as the prize "Raphael Rabello" at the VI National Contest of Guitar Interpretation of Piaui - Brazil. His performances go beyond the classical repertoire covering a wide range of musical genres. Since 2008 he has been maintaining an intense professional activity in South-America and Europe giving concerts as a chamber musician and soloist. On Paulo’s arrival in Europe, he was selected to be part of the “Live Music Now” series in Munich. The legendary violinist Yehudi Menuhin founded this project, which aims to provide a musical experience for different social groups that do not have free and easy access to live music. Over the last four years, Paulo was also regularly invited to play concerts in Bayern by this program. He was the creator and artistic director of the guitar concert series ‘Our Daily Guitar’ in partnership with SESC Uberlândia and brought to his birth town prominent names from the national and international guitar scene, such as Duo Siqueira-Lima, Zoran Dukic and Pablo Márquez to the music scene in his homeland. Researcher of musical performance, he finds a new way between the musician and music accordingly Yogic philosophy and practices. Since then he has been sharing his research and experiences ministering workshops about this topic in Argentina and Brazil.
