In 2008 Paulius Rudokas finished his studies at National M. K. Ciurlionis School of Arts in Vilnius. In 2014 he received a Master’s degree after graduating from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. During 2009-2010 he studied at Hamburg’s Academy of Music and Theatre with prof. R. Nattkemper. Currently, he is studying at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with prof. A. Shorr. Paulius is a laureate of various International piano competitions in Lithuania and abroad. On the occasion of Lithuanian Presidency of the European Union, pianist represented Lithuania in the European Piano Competition in Normandy (France). He is also a participant of many republican and international festivals, masterclasses, charity events not only as soloist but also as a member of chamber ensembles. As a member of Piano Quintet he participated in “Harmos“ festival which was held in Portugal. In 2014, together with his partner they became diploma winners of the International S. Vainiunas Competition in Chamber ensembles section. Paulius Rudokas participated in masterclasses with such professors as A. Kouyomdjian, C. Elton, N. Fisher R. Kruger, O. Kern, V. Tropp, N. Seriogina, A. Gavrilov, J. Lowenthal. In 2010 pianist was participating in summer piano school organised by foundation “New names” in Suzdal (Russia), where he had lessons with prof. L. Roscina (Moscow P. Tchaikovsky Conservatoire). During the Celebration of F. Chopin’s 200th birth anniversary Paulius performed solo recitals and also both piano concertos with Lithuanian St. Christofore Chamber Orchestra. Pianist regularly appears with Kaunas State Symphony orchestra as a soloist. Paulius was awarded by the Lithuanian President for the International success, and also by a delegation of Poland, for promoting Polish culture by playing F.Chopin’s music. In 2011 he won a scholarship of YAMAHA foundation. Paulius Rudokas is supported by The Sam Hutchings Memorial Fellowship of Michael and Elizabeth Hutchings.
