Hi, I'm Paul. I'm a singer/pianist from South London, UK. I've been a professional performer and musician for over 20 years. During that time, I've performed all over the UK, at prestigious venues including Wembley Stadium, Royal Albert Hall, OXO Tower, Westminster Abbey and Chelsea Flower Show. I have also performed on P&O’s prestigious cruises all around the world. As well as performing solo, I perform with artists including Mark Nevin of Fairground Attraction, with top UK function band, The Headliners, and as part of The Sixties touring musical. I have studied at Kingston University and Goldsmiths College, and immersed myself in Jazz, Rock and Pop. I'll bring you a wonderful, eclectic mix of rock, pop and jazz favourites, perfect for any occasion, from beautiful atmospheric background music to full-on, foot-stomping singalongs Featuring songs by: Queen, Elton John, Billy Joel, Ed Sheeran, George Michael, Sting, John Legend, The Beatles, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Robbie Williams…the list goes on! I always aim to deliver the highest level of professionalism and customer care, along with the personal attention that your event deserves. I'm always available to answer messages, or have a chat about the finer details, to make sure your event is as unique as you are. From learning a special song, to getting involved with the theme for an event, I'm always happy to go that extra mile, and bring that extra bit of live music sparkle! Paul gave a wonderful performance at our wedding. His piano playing and singing created such a beautiful atmosphere and made the day feel even more special. He also accompanied one of our close friends, who is a soprano and sang a few numbers at the reception. He took the time to rehearse with her beforehand, and she said she loved performing with him. He was professional, talented and a pleasure to work with from start to finish. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a brilliant musician for their wedding or special event.

Paul played at my husband’s 50th birthday party and was absolutely brilliant. He was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish and played a great selection of songs for our guests. Would not hesitate to hire Paul again.

Paul was personable and highly cooperative when it came to where he should be positioned.His music was just right for our rather elderly group and his singing voice attracted much praise. Several of our guests expressed a desire to employ Paul again when the situation arises.

Paul was in touch prior to the event to discuss details and proactively contacted our other musician and they both planned their collaboration. The Piano playing is excellent and his vocals are strong and his repertoire is very broad. Paul can be in background or as we wanted interactively working with the audience so they participated and in our case that added immense value to the event outcome. Would I book Paul again? Yes!

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know. I'm always happy to advise on what timings will work best.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, no problem. Happy to supply a playlist of suitable music before and during the breaks if required.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually like to allow approx 45 mins to 1 hour to set up, before the performance time. If there's a very tight turnaround time for a performance space (for example, clearing a room after a wedding breakfast and preparing it for the evening reception), then I can set up in as little as 20 mins!

If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?

Yes, of course - as long as the piano is in working order and in tune, then I'm happy to play on it!

Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?

Yes, I will bring my own stage piano (a professional keyboard) to perform.
