I am a graduate of the prestigious BA Jazz performance course at Middlesex University. A pianist since the age of 6, I went on to study alto saxophone from the age of 12. I am superbly experienced and confident in DJ/Sax sets & Jazz/Lounge reception & evening parties. I can play alongside backing tracks as a solo performer, or I can bring a DJ or any number of additional musicians as per your requirements. I manage and perform with event band Vivid Band. We offer a variety of line ups : acoustic jazz duos / trios, 4-13 piece party bands. I can dress in either a dazzling show suit, a striking all-white casual suit, a formal black suit (with or without bow tie) or more casual funky disco pop summer wear.

All prices include:Compact sound system and wireless bell-mounted saxophone microphone / receiver. I can play-along to backing tracks and blend the saxophone using my (included) portable sound system. This set up is suitable for all reception / small party events for up to 150 persons. Additional production is available and / or an independent DJ - please see my add-ons for more details. Please note : if you have already booked a DJ for your event, it is usually advisable to integrate with the DJ rig. My compact system cannot be used with a third party DJ.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

The energy and interactive elements of the show. I am a very enthusiastic performer and I'm always happy to roam into the audience and provide a more personal performance if desired.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Phew, most of them over my career span. Most recently, the Marriott County Hall for the NYE dinner dance with the most spectacular view of the firework display. In London, my favourite are the Gherkin, The Guoman Tower and the St Pancras Renaissance. Outside of London, Ardington House, Redcoats, and Chelmsford Races.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Cannonball Adderley, Branford Marsalis. Michael Brecker.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I performed at the RAF Centenary event in the huge aircraft hangar at RAF Leeming and on a huge stage. Very honoured to be part of the celebrations and performing with a large band.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Happy to renegotiate times subject to availability. Additional fee maybe charged.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, I can provide background music from a pre-arranged playlist.

How much time do you need to set up?

30mins set up and sound check time. Additional time required if you book me with a larger group.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Yes, you are welcome to select your setlist from my repertoire.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, I provide a compact PA. This is suitable for events of up to 200 persons.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Additional songs to learn are priced at £30 per song.
