I love music, and I especially love playing piano - whether it be for personal pleasure, or at weddings and other functions (of which I have done many over the years, for friends, family or for hire!) I have spent many years honing my craft, recently gaining my Associate in Jazz Piano from the London College of Music. I also play in various function bands, and accompany singers too. Please do check out my videos for an idea of my playing, and let me know what you think! I’m very versatile and happy to learn new songs (whatever is special to you) and will gladly ensure I curate the perfect playlist for your occasion.

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know - I will be as flexible as possible to make sure your event runs perfectly.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely - happy to!

How much time do you need to set up?

30 minutes should be plenty! Just let me know where you'd like me to set up!

If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?

Yes, as long as it's in tune and in working order, that would be even better!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

My set list has been built over time according to what people enjoy hearing, and I'm good at understanding what type of atmosphere is needed, and adapting my playing to build exactly the right ambience. I'd be happy to chat through and make sure what I play works exactly right for your event.

Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?

Yes, I can bring my own keyboard and amplifier.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If there are special songs you'd like me to learn I'd be more than happy to do this for you.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

I'm perceptive to the type of atmosphere that my clients want - I can play relaxing, background music, and I can also increase energy levels. Clients also enjoy that I can put my hand quickly to almost any requests (as long as I've heard it!)

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Countless weddings, restaurants, hotels etc.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

In pop/rock, I love good songwriting - so The Beatles, Coldplay, Crowded House, Elton John, Billy Joel to name a few. If we're talking jazz, I love Bill Evans' and Keith Jarrett's playing in particular.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

For me, nothing quite beats playing/singing people down the aisle at their wedding - it's part of one of the most special moments in someone's lifetime, and you get to play a part in that. It's really special.
