Studied Drama & Philosophy at the University of Glasgow before becoming a professional actor, working in theatre & television in Scotland. Retrained as an operatic tenor with Peter Alexander Wilson at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama. After a spell working with Scottish Opera as a member of the education team and extra chorus, Paul embarked on a solo career and has sung principal roles for Scottish Opera, The Opera Group, Barcelona Liceu, Paris Chatelet, Opera Holland Park, Grange Park, Garsington, Wexford Festival, Opera della luna and many others including covering roles at the Royal Opera Covent Garden & Opera North. He has also performed in opera concerts, oratorios and 3 tenor recitals all over the world. He is an associate director of the English Pocket Opera Company and has introduced opera to thousands of children via their fast & funny interactive workshops.
