About Paul

Paul was a principal and solo trombonist in the Royal Marines Bandservice, before embarking on a civilian professional playing career.
Trombonist
Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Midlands, London, prepared to travel etc.
Public liability insurance of £10 million

Paul started his musical career at the Newham Academy of Music and then joined the Royal Marines Bandservice, leaving in 1987 (14 years service) after suffering spinal injury and undergoing surgery. He has played professionally for many years and enjoys playing now, as much, if not more than when he started. He has performed with many ensembles and in all genres of music suitable for the trombone (and some that aren't at first thought to be so!) Paul has played as principal and solo trombone with: The Band of Her Majesty's Royal Marines The Central Band of the Royal British Legion The Royal Marines Association Concert Band The London Mozart Players The Hampshire Constabulary Band The British Police Symphony Orchestra The Isle of Wight Symphony Orchestra The Ministry of Defence Police Band The Derby Concert Orchestra The Chesterfield Symphony Orchestra The Woking Symphony Orchestra The West Midlands Fire Service Band The NSK Ransome Band And others too many to mention. He is happy to play in any genre, with any ensemble, anywhere (within reason?!)
