Patchwork are an award-winning six-piece fusion band whose members span the length and breadth of Britain and Ireland: from Hampshire to the Highlands, taking in Norwich, Sligo, Dublin, and Ayr along the way. This diverse range of musical backgrounds come together to create a unique blend of English, Scottish and Irish folk & jazz music. Playing a mix of old, new, and original tunes, Patchwork stitches it all together with drive and energy. Patchwork have performed across Birmingham, including at the city's Symphony Hall and in the city centre during the weekend of the 2022 Commonwealth Games. Patchwork have been praised for their 'original sound', which sees at the likes of a driving fiddle folk tune break seamlessly into a roaring sax solo followed by a flute/piano duet.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Symphony Hall Birmingham Albert's Schloss Birmingham The Spotted Dog, Digbeth

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Colin Steele (jazz trumpet), Joe Broughton (fiddle), Flook (folk band), Kieran Quinn (piano)

Do you have different line-up options?

Our line up is generally: fiddle, flute, sax, piano, bass, and drums. As our arrangements are unique to us, we are not able to offer alternative line-ups.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We know plans can change, and we will always be as flexible as we can to accommodate this. If your timings change after booking, please just in touch!

How much time do you need to set up?

We can usually do this in an hour, but 2 hours is preferable where possible.

Can you learn song requests before the event?
