My DJ journey started a very long time ago in 1988. Between then and 2015 I was a very highly accomplished and award winning DJ and presenter. My journey has taken me all over the world working for some of the biggest brands and labels in clubland. I was also a founder member of the production collective 'DC Project' and for a brief period a label manager. In preparation for leaving the late night economy I retrained as a therapist. This has been hugely valuable in my journey as a wedding host. Seven years ago I had the honour of becoming a Wedding Host within an industry leading team. I am now regarded as one of the most established and professional contemporary Wedding Hosts in the U.K. I am very happily married to my amazingly understanding wife Laura. We live in a small village on the outskirts of Bradford, right in the middle of Bronte country. Together we have four incredible children Henry 17, George 13, Arabella 11 and Hugo 3. I also have an older son Lewis, who is my business partner and who lives in Scotland.

Our wedding reception at Stanley House was an absolute dream, thanks in large part to the incredible hosting skills of Pat Mulligan. From the moment we met him, Pat exuded warmth, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm for making our special day unforgettable. Pat's attention to detail was impeccable, ensuring that every aspect of the entertainment at our wedding ran smoothly and seamlessly. He worked closely with us in the planning stages, offering invaluable advice and expertise to help bring our vision to life. On the day of the event, Pat was a calming presence, effortlessly managing all the moving parts while we focused on enjoying the celebration with our loved ones. Pat went above and beyond to make sure that every guest felt welcomed. His charisma and charm endeared him to everyone, and many of our guests commented on how personable and attentive he was throughout the Day, we hadn’t had the easiest of build ups to our wedding but Pat made sure our day was a day we will never forget and gave us memories that we will cherish forever. Not only did Pat excel in his role as our Wedding Host, but he was also our DJ for the evening reception, wow, he was outstanding, keeping the dance floor packed and the energy high throughout the evening. His ability to read the crowd and curate the perfect playlist had everyone on their feet, dancing the night away till 1am and even then people didn’t want him to stop. The ambiance Pat helped create was nothing short of magical. Every detail was executed to perfection, leaving us and our guests with memories that will last a lifetime. We cannot recommend Pat Mulligan highly enough to anyone in search of a wedding host & DJ who truly cares about making your day as special as it can be Pat Mulligan is your man. What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

There's been quite a few! Let me answer that at our meetings!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I keep in regular contact with you to ensure the timings are correct on the day.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

During me wedding hosting I will play music as well as interacting with guests.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Of course!! We will have a meeting before your special day to ensure the music I play on the day is to yours and your guests pleasure.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

yes, absolutely!

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

I have thousands of songs to choose from! I'm sure it'll be in there!
