Dr Pat Hinds has a PhD in musicology from Durham University. He is a renowned guitarist, endorsed by Faith guitars, Timberline guitars and Elixir Strings. Pat has also represented Harley Benton, D’addario strings and Mooer audio. He has created several viral guitar performance videos that have garnered millions of views each. Pat has a recent release with Candyrat records and has recorded with several top artists. Pat has a PhD in musicology from Durham University, along with a Masters of Music, a Post-graduate Diploma and a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Surrey. Pat has represented various major brands at some of the biggest guitar shows in the world, including 'The Guitar Show'- the biggest guitar event in the UK! He has played with Rick Wakeman and Sue Perkins in the Orion Orchestra, performed with the Albert Hall House band and with the Royal College of Music Orchestra and runs regular showcase nights at the Temple of Art and Music. Outstanding and clear comms from day 1, it was so easy to connect with Pat with our shared love for music of many genres. What a great musician. He reads the room perfectly, with a great combination of hypnotic technique and catchy popular music. Pat goes between genres so elegantly and can get a group of people engaged so easily with his skill and charisma. An absolute pleasure to watch whenever Pat plays!

I have watched Patrick play live several times over the years and his technique is personally unrivalled. We invited him to perform at our event and our guests were extremely impressed! He has a completely unique style when he plays, something I haven't seen before, and something that we all need to hear more of in this otherwise 'mundane' life! What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I try to be as flexible as possible, so please let me know as soon as you can about any timing changes.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I am very happy to provide this service. If you require a DJ service beyond the agreed gig duration I would ask for an additional fee. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements.

How much time do you need to set up?

15-30 minutes

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Please make up to 4 requests from the list, and do give me an idea of any styles or artists you particularly enjoy (or don't!)

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, my PA is battery powered so I don't even need an electrical outlet.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Yes I am happy to take requests that are not in the song list. I wrote and arrange all solo guitar songs that I play and it takes me a considerable amount of time to create and learn a new piece. As such I ask for an additional fee for this service.
