Papilio Strings are professional musicians trained at top conservatoires (Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and the Royal Northern College of Music), and are dedicated to making your wedding or event special! We have years of performing experience, and offer a wide range of genres, including Classical, Pop, Jazz, Bridgerton, Songs from Movies etc. - we are also happy to take requests of particular songs that you would like that are not on our Songlist (as long as it is in plenty of time for us to learn it before your event)! Do you have different line-up options?

Yes - we are available as a String Duo, String Trio, or String Quartet!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event, just let us know as soon as possible!

How much time do you need to set up?

We can set up in a few minutes, but we always aim to arrive at least 30 minutes before the performance time, so that we are ready in plenty of time!

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Yes, absolutely - we are happy for you to choose particular songs from our Songlist, as well as any unique songs you have requested for your event. Equally, we are happy if you would prefer to just request a particular genre, and we will do the rest!

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, we bring our instruments and everything else we need! The only things we require are chairs, and some cover if your event is outside.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Yes! Included in our quote is up to 5 songs that you would like for your event that aren't on our Songlist - please make sure you request these as soon as possible so we have time to arrange and learn them before your event! If you have any additional song requests, there will be a small fee of £12.50 per additional song.
