Previous experience in a 5 piece function band of 16 years. As well as 20 years of music tutoring to all ages. Past venues/events have included everything from festivals to stadiums, to Italian vineyards, to Simon Pegg's back garden! Now transitioned to solo work, at private and public events. Punchy, playful dance vibes, leaning passionately towards rock/80s feel, yet also willing and able to provide chilled/lounge atmosphere also. I often find reading the room gives the best and most satisfactory results! Additionally a keen composer. Willing to perform this side to my repertoire, if required. What do your clients love most about your performances?

My PRIMARY goal for my clients, is that they come away after my performances having truly ENJOYED themselves to the HIGHEST possibility!! I love a little bit of good, healthy, and sometimes cheeky banter with the crowd! It makes the night run smoothly for everyone all round. I also feed off a crowd. So the more energy you give me, the more you'll get back!

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Multiple wedding venues across the country. Cocktail bars, football stadiums, air shows, ladies nights, cafés, rock venues, festivals, private house parties, churches, colleges/universities, balls, arenas, city halls, hotels, boat parties.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Literally just about EVERY genre! But I do favour the rock numbers most, as well as 80s rock/pop. Some examples include GnR, Incubus, Green Day, Oasis, Blink 182, Jimmy Eat World, MJ, Madonna, Abba, Tori Amos, Regina Spektor, Imogen Heap, The Cure, Faith No More, U2, Sheryl Crow, Paramore, A-ha, Foo Fighters, Radiohead... The list goes on!...

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I might say Simon Pegg's back garden!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

That's absolutely fine. We'll communicate and work logistics out as best we can running up to the event. Everything will be alright on the night!

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes absolutely. However there will be an extra cost of £100, if you require my gear for mp3 music from the finishing of my set until the closing of event/venue.

How much time do you need to set up?

Approximately 45 minutes to an hour. Once set up you're welcome to immediately plug in with an mp3 playlist to get the vibe going! If you don't have one of your own, I can also provide this.

If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?

Yes this is certainly helpful. Though specifically it would need to be an electric piano with outputs. And ideally have weighted keys.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Absolutely. You can choose from what I already know, and additionally suggest requests! I can't always promise I can deliver EVERY request on the day, but you can try me! I'm also happy to take requests in advance, so it's assured they get played on the day.

Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?

Yes. Not a problem.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

I can yes. Requests in advance are helpful, as it assures you'll get a locked in definite, and quality performance! Depending on the task required, there will be additional costs, particularly if it's multiple requests. Generally if it's 3+ song requests to learn especially in advance, there is a £50 extra charge. If it's a 1 to 2 song requirement, it's £30.
