Over the Moon are your first choice for an action-packed ceilidh event. Our caller is excellent at getting everyone dancing and our high energy instrumental dance tunes are irresistible to dancing feet. Mel on fiddle has been playing Irish dances for 20 years and is an accomplished player. Oli plays the flute and whistle and is highly sought after for gigs. Matt on guitar is a legend in his own lifetime and supplies the driving energy to make this an irresistible dance band. Our caller has 20 years of experience calling for events across the South East, she is in great demand and always gives an exiting, fun filled evening.

Just as these guys are called as such, all our wedding guests were over the moon with these guys. They were a tremendous addition to our wedding day playing the right amount of fun, jovial music. Easy to work with and I'd book them again in a heartbeat for any occasion.

They were fantastic! All of our wedding guests praised them for creating a great atmosphere for our post-ceremony drinks. They were really accommodating to our needs (set times, venue, budget) we had mel on fiddle accompanied by guitar and they sounded brilliant and played lots of familiar little jigs/trad songs. Would highly recommend them a dhope to hear them play again. Thank you 'over the moon'!

The band were amazing - we had an outside venue and it began to rain - they adapted and got everyone dancing regardless. The caller was hilarious and kept the atmosphere light hearted and kept us all laughing all night long! The dances and instructions were great and easy to understand! It was just brilliant and we had a fantastic time - we will definitely be booking them again for next years event! Thanks so much 👍

I just wanted to say thanks so, so much for the ceilidh at my 50th last month. Everyone agree it was the best night they’ve had in a long time. It was great how the caller got everyone up and dancing - from out youngest family member (aged 4) through to my aunt who is in her 70s. What a treat to have live music and a warm, friendly caller. I think we’ve all just about got our breath back from the dancing (and laughing).

Several of us were new to ceilidhs but the combination of fantastic music and rhythm, and enthusiastic calling got us on our feet for the best night. I can’t recommend them enough - they will make your party swing.
