Hi! We’re Meg & Jake and we’re Over The Moon. We’re a covers duo based in Cheshire, offering a unique blend of piano and drums, with female-fronted vocals. Whether you’re looking for something powerful that fills the dance floor and gets the party started, a laid-back set with atmospheric vocals for relaxed afternoons/evenings, or anything in between, we’ll be the perfect soundtrack for your event. Our current repertoire spans modern favourites to classic hits carefully curated to suit every occasion from wedding ceremonies, receptions and evening parties, birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, drinks receptions, summer parties, or corporate events. We have several offerings available: • Party band duo: Energetic party vibes that get people on the dancefloor (see video showreel) • Stripped-back duo: a more relaxed set-up to suit an atmospheric afternoon or evening, while still keeping toes tapping (see audio) • Piano & vocal solo: Meg is available for solo bookings, performing with laid-back, atmospheric vocals and piano. (see audio) We can provide: • 2 x 45 minute sets • 2 x 1 hour sets • 3 x 40 minute sets We can also tailor this to suit your specifications.

There are truly no words to describe how special it was to have Meg sing me down the aisle on my wedding day. From the very first note, she captured all the magic of the day and spun it into a beautiful melody for all to hear. Meg is incredibly talented at what she does and she had everyone there shedding a tear. Looking back it remains one of the most cherished parts of our day. Meg even picked up new fans during the sound check, with guests completely captivated by her amazing voice, before the ceremony had even begun. I cannot recommend Meg highly enough for any special event. She brought something unforgettable to our day and we will treasure those memories forever! P.s I still listen to her voice recording of the songs she played on repeat most days

Do you have different line-up options?

Our line-up is as follows: Vocals, Keys & Drums There is also the option for Meg to play solo - Vocals & Keys

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try to our best to be flexible to help ensure you events runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change please let us know as soon as possible.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up around 1.5 hours before the performance time. This includes a soundcheck.

Can you roam around while you perform?

No, this isn't possible.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from past performances and events and understanding what works best to ensure your guests are having a wonderful time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through the songs with you and make sure we find what works best for you.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to discuss this with you and see if it's possible. There is an extra fee for this service to take into account rehearsal times.
