There are few full-time ‘large’ (read : 9 or more members) AfroLatin orchestras in the UK and Europe, but Mambarito are up there with the very best. Always sporting a full-size brass and wind section, even including that essential bass ‘underflow’ from the baritone saxophone (MD David Strahan take a bow), these cats satisfy music aficionados and dance party animals alike. Always a massive hit at my weekly Saturday afternoon Latin Jazz Brunch sessions at Peckham’s CLF Art Lounge, they just seem to get tighter and funkier each show. Ain’t no stoppin’ ‘em now…

Orquesta Mambarito, without a doubt, is one of the best live bands on the salsa scene at the moment, great sound, great vibe, great energy, I've never seen so many dancers on the floor when they play. Do you have different line-up options?

Not really. Our salsadura is exciting because it features tight orchestrations for five horns - and of course the rhythm section is also essential!

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

No the PA is not included in our quote. If your venue does not provide PA and sound engineer, we can arrange it for an extra fee. If your venue does provide those things, please put us in touch to check the technical details. As an 11 piece band, we need a decent sized stage, ideally 5m wide by 4m deep.

Can you learn song requests before the event?
