My name is Oren, and I am offering my services as a session guitarist and composer. I have been heavily involved in the live music industry for the last 13 years, and with that carry professional and exceptional expertise as a guitarist and composer. BIO: Oren’s journey in music began when he first picked up the guitar at the age of 6. His obsession with music grew out of a love for guitarists Mark Knopfler, David Gilmour, and Eric Clapton. As a teenager, he developed his playing by performing at live venues and open mic sessions from the age of 14. At University, Oren achieved a first-class honours and distinction in his bachelor and masters in music. Further to this he established himself as a session guitarist and composer through collaborations with prominent artists across Southampton, London and Kent. This includes Maxine Scott (BBC Radio Kent’s ‘Fresh Find’), Samuel Ashton, Hannah Willaims, Nohost, and London Southbank University to name a few. He has performed at a variety of venues, from local festivals and function gigs to EP launches, showcasing versatility across blues/rock/soul, neo-soul/RnB, and indie/pop genres. His exposure to live music and performing has given his rock, funk, blues, and soul playing its own personal and natural style. The foundations of Oren’s playing focus on tone, subtlety, time, and space. He is now firmly established as a session player, arranger, band leader, improviser, as well as film composer. Oren's unique musical story casts him aside from the majority.
