Formed in 2022, the Oompah-Loompas comprises of 5 professional musicians from the North East of England. With a bespoke Bavarian music specially written for a party atmosphere, the Oompah-Loompas are sure to give you a night to remember! The band will travel nationally, as well as Europe. They have their own PA and light system which will easily fill a 500 capacity room. The Oompah-Loompas has all electrical safety certificates and has insurance through the Musicians Union. We hired this band for a end of season party. What a night! 40 drunk rugby players cannot be wrong! This was one of the best nights we've had in our clubhouse for a very long time. We've booked them for next year already. :)

Customer questions

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Yes. The singer you see on the video is our regular vocalist. I will notify you immediately if not but I usually go out with the same musicians to keep the high standard of music.

Do you have different line-up options?

With regret, we don't offer a different line-up. Our music has been especially created and is bespoke for our configuration of musicians, getting the perfect balance between quality and affordability.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

The Oompah-Loompas always try to be flexible. We appreciate things may change and problems arise so please contact us and we will accommodate as best we can.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes. I myself am an experienced DJ playing at weddings, cooperate functions, as well as pus and clubs. I have the latest Pioneer technology and it plugs straight into our PA system. My music catalogue boasts over 10,000 tracks, and will cater for any event. The fee for a DJ will be an added £75 per hour.

How much time do you need to set up?

The set up time is usually 1 hour. This includes time for us to sound check. We would like a short break between setting up and our first set to recuperate. Should you wish us to set up and then vacate the area for events such as weddings, then we will be happy to accommodate.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Unfortunately this is something we do not offer as our set list is time served and have proved to be the best songs in the perfect order. We can however offer extra songs as long as we have around eight weeks notice. This will give me time to compose the music for the band.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

All of the equipment is provided in our quotes. We carry as standard a 500w full range sound system which is capable of filling a room of 200 people. We also carry an LED light set which is suitable for a dancefloor. All equipment is electrically safety tested. The quote will also cover all of our travel costs so their will be no hidden charges.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

The band would be happy to learn a new song for your event. I would need at least eight weeks notice so I can write the music for the band which will also give us time to rehearse it. There is no extra fee for this type of request.
