We are Oompah-Fessional Brass!
Formed as an experiment back around Easter of 2009, Oompah-Fessional Brass has since blossomed into a hard hitting, brass powered group that provide the fun and frolics of an Oompah band to North Wales and beyond!
We play a wide variety of music from traditional German waltzes and Bavarian songs that are associated with Oompah bands to modern day classics. We have all the decades covered from the 1920's right up to current day, with chart topping songs from all genres. You name it, we probably play it! If you request a particular song at your event that isn't in our repertoire then one of our in house composer-arrangers will be glad to assist in making it happen!
We come with our very own front man who is buzzing with energy and charisma and he will make sure that the audience get involved as we play games to accompany the music! Audience participation is key!
We have gigged at many establishments from pubs and bars to caravan parks across North Wales, mainly in Gwynedd and Anglesey. Our spiritual home, and sponsor, is The Belle Vue in Bangor, where we perform 6 times a year. We also gig in Aberystwyth on a regular basis (currently 4 times a year), and have also played a few gigs in the Manchester area over the years. We are also scheduled to play overseas in Ireland, playing as part of Oktoberfest Beag both in Cork and Limerick during Oktoberfest 2017 season.
We are willing to travel as far as required for your gig and have reasonable price rates available.
