One Way Or Another It’s Blondie

I studied music at University, gaining a 1st Class BA Degree in music. Once qualifying I decided to turn my hobby of weekend performance into my main career and worked on the UK circuit while I gained experience before relocating to Tenerife to work as a full time entertainer. The move inspired me to always aim high and achieve your dreams. Hard work, determination and the love and knowledge of music gave me the tools to succeed and change my life to live my dream. I’ve performed a tribute to Debbie Harry and Blondie for 6 years working between Tenerife and the UK. I decided Blondie was the perfect tribute due to her mesmerising vocals and capabilities on stage as an icon for her beauty and individuality as a female punk artist. Her stern attitude and unique tone were to me, an art to learn and recreate which made a Blondie tribute so appealing. As a vocalist I like to push myself to new limits so creating my version of Debbie Harry was an amazing and inspiring challenge I wanted to accept. I have worked between both Tenerife and the UK for 8 years, capturing the essence of the Debbie Harry punk rock attitude, while showcasing replicas of her iconic costumes and biggest hits throughout the decades. I have studied Debbie Harry & Blondie to create an unforgettable show for any Blondie fan to watch and enjoy. I perform her biggest hits from the 40 years of her career so far, alongside her early 70’s releases when the band first became known ensuring any Blondie fan can hear their favourite songs from each album starting in 1976. I’ve been nominated as ‘Best Tribute Act’ in Tenerife for 5 consecutive years and performed some of Tenerife’s biggest venues such as Castillo San Miguel to an audience of over 900 people. In the UK I worked at local bars and clubs in the North East and I also performed at The Sage Gateshead and Newcastle City Hall. I am returning to work and live in the UK to pursue my love for live performance and Blondie. After 8 years performing 15 shows a week in Tenerife, I am very excited to be changing direction in my career and taking Blondie back to UK soil for more unforgettable shows at amazing venues! I aim to provide and perform the best solo tribute to Blondie, by always ensuring the audience are part of the show and the experience. I feel very grateful to have performed this tribute for 8 years, and I will continue to perform with the same energy and enthusiasm at each venue and performance I do.
