Once Upon a Tune adds a sprinkle of fairy dust to your event, playing the greatest fairytale movie soundtracks from past and present alongside some well known standards. Founded by Sarah Vaughan, Samer Sharawi and Edu Bisogno the group creates an exceptional ambience for your event that will be loved by all of your guests and guaranteed to bring you that happy ever after feeling. We offer either a Jazz trio (Vocals, Piano & Double bass) perfectly suited for events like wedding breakfasts, afternoon cocktail party … or to really bring the genie out of the bottle we also come as a Jazz Quartet with our drummer Christian to add that little extra pizzazz. Specialising in weddings, our jazz trio is perfect for setting the right ambience for when your guests arrive or while your wedding guests are enjoying their special meal. Our jazz quartet is perfectly suited as a special feature of your wedding day. The quartet has a wide range repertoire full of energy and dynamics, and has the ability to get your guests up and dancing. Whether you choose us as a trio or quartet we are perfect addition to bring something different to your event, no other entertainment is as magical as us. We can be soothing background music or a high tempo magical carpet ride experience across the Arabian desert.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Most people love that we play some of the most loved and well known Disney, Pixar and Dreamworks movie songs. alongside that we also play well know Jazz standards by Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra and many more.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We have played at most wedding venues in Engalnd including the Maritime (Queens House), Knebworth House, Blenheim Palace, Cliveden house and many more.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Our singer, Sarah is west-end and classically trained and believe it or not her favourite singe is the great Sarah Vaughan. Our bassist Sam loves cool jazz, and his favourite artist is Chet Baker. Edu, who plays Piano, loves Bossa Nova and is a big fan of Carlos Jobim.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Sam has preformed at the BBC proms in Hide Park and also was part of Take That's band on the X factor. Sarah Has been on ITV's Walk the line with her all female band band Ida Girls. Edu our Pianist was part of the support act who toured with Gregory porter.

Do you have different line-up options?

Yes we do. We come as a trio (vocalist, keyboard and double basses) as standard which gives us a lovely jazz sound. To give your event extra energy’s you can book our drummer, Christiano. This really brings more dynamic options to our performance.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1 hour before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!

Can you roam around while you perform?

Sarah, our singer can move around during the performance.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA system is included in your quote. We usually require a minimum of 3x3 for the trio and 4x4 space for the 4-piece to perform

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £50 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc
