Thank you for taking the time to read a little more about me. My name is Omo Kings and I'm a full-time professional musician, specialising in piano, and music production / directing. I am also a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and creative director of Softhouse Productions, an Independent production outfit I founded in 2015. Like most popular artists today, in my early years, my love for music found expression in the choir, playing musical instruments and singing in church before moving on to join my first boy band D’RUK with my cousins Uyino and Ricky. My sound can be described as Afrocentric, a melting pot of music from my African roots blended with different genres such as R&B, Gospel, Hip hop, Jazz, Pop and Alternative Soul. Throughout my career, I have collaborated with numerous artists, producers, and DJs. Among my notable achievements is producing an EP titled 'Little Brown Girl' in 2017 for leading female UK Afrobeats DJ Cynthia MVP. Some British-African heavyweights appeared on the EP, including JJC Skills from Big Brovas and comic legend Eddie Kadi. The EP debuted on the iTunes World Chart at No 5. and was on top radio stations across the UK and Africa. I am currently the Music Director for Hope Centre a fast-growing multicultural church based in East London, and also the Music director for my band The Natives, a five-piece collective playing various styles of contemporary music.
