Ollie West is a proficient keyboard player, singer, songwriter, composer and arranger based in Manchester. As a professional musician Ollie has already performed with a wide variety of up and coming musicians as well as established artists and session musicians, including New Order, Dutch Uncles, Bill Laurance and Joe Duddell. His talents have been recognised by producers of Cold Feet (ITV), which he recorded a keyboard track for. Ollie is a songwriter and arranger for his originals project “The Ollie West Band” as well as for James Stephens, and as a classical composer has had his works workshopped by The London Mozart Players. He is known as a friendly, organised, reliable, and personable collegue with excellent communication skills. He is currently studying Popular Music Performance under Matt Steele at the Royal Northern College of Music.
The tracks of Ollie West and his band are excellent examples of pop/fusion; sophisticated changes, literate lyrics layered upon a fine groove.
