Oliver Moore

Oliver is a freelance musician, based in Worthing, West Sussex, he is a graduate from the University of Chichester where he studied for a Music degree. Oliver is now a brass tutor in the local area, teaching privately and in schools, he performs regularly with local groups and in the last year has begun training in instrument repair. Oliver has many years of playing experience in a variety of different groups, styles and genres, his experiences range from symphony orchestras to brass quintets, chamber orchestras to brass bands. As a classically trained player, he has been fortunate enough to be a part of some major classical works, some of which include, Shostakovich's Symphony No.5, Berlioz "Symphonie Fantastique", Mozart's "The Marriage of Figaro" and more. Oliver can currently be heard performing with the Worthing Philharmonic Orchestra and the Southdowns Concert Band, but is also often asked to dep or perform for other groups and projects. As well as live performance Oliver also enjoys recording and producing his own covers for brass, spanning a range of works and including his own arrangements for small ensembles. In addition to arranging, Oliver has recently taken his hand at composing for film, writing and producing the soundtrack for an ongoing animated series, with the fourth episode currently in production. Oliver holds a current DBS check on the update service (Previously CRB) and is also a member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians.
