Having graduated with a First Class Honours degree in performance from the University of Southampton, OG SAX has performed in a variety of venues across the UK and Europe, including the 2019 Jazz Montreux Festival, 02 Academy Islington, Ronnie Scotts (Upstairs) and many more. OG SAX has vast experience in performing wedding/corporate/private party functions across the UK in bands such as The Beats UK, Fonz & the Poet and the Tom Belbin Trio. Wedding Dinner Set

2 x 1/2 hour sets of pop classics during your wedding dinner to create a chilled but atmospheric ambience to your wedding day experience. PA system included

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try my best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, of course! I provide a DJ service within the breaks of my sets and for a short period afterwards for as part of the package. As an optional extra, you can pay £100 for music to be played half an hour either side of my sets.

How much time do you need to set up?

Normally I need half an hour to set up, however this may vary depending on the venue and will always aim to be there at least an hour before my performance.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes! I also take requests if you have a particular song you want me to play (but will need this a week in advance)

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes - however I can also play in your PA system if you would prefer. If you want me to play alongside a DJ you have already booked - this can also be arranged!

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes

What do your clients love most about your performances?

I bring a high energy and professional attitude to every gig - with the audience having the best possible time always my main goal. I am easy going and adaptable to whatever the client needs, with a wide plethora of song choice meaning most ears will be pleased.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

In terms of jazz/soul, my sound is based off 80s smooth Sax players such as David Sunborn and Grover Washington. I also have influences on contemporary sax players such as Lovely Laura and other Ibiza Sax stars.
