Number 7 are one of the most experienced functions bands playing in and around Hertfordshire and are the perfect choice if you are looking for a contemporary band for your wedding, corporate event or party who can seamlessly blend different genres of music into a funky set that all of your guests can enjoy. Whether you are aiming for a chilled and relaxed vibe or want everyone up dancing and chanting the words, we have lots of great material to help everything go perfectly for you on the night. We don’t bring tons of complicated equipment and we don’t wear spangly outfits (not a sequin in sight!) but we have all been playing since we were very little, love real music and care massively about what we do… so if you are looking for quality musicianship and like mixing up the ultra-modern with the timeless classics please take a closer look! Fortunate enough to be the main support act for many acts such as Scouting For Girls, Blue, Sister Sledge, Peter Andre, Example & Boyzlife to name a few! We are looking forward to seeing you :)

What I really love about 'The Band' is a virtually unique combination of attributes; extraordinarily talented and yet so laid back as these guys take the music- but not themselves seriously. Their virtually endless repertoire emphasises how deeply they embrace their craft. Every track is a crowd pleaser – note and delivery perfect. I only wished we’d applied for a later licence as the boys could have played all night. I book over 350 festival acts per year and without doubt – 'The Band' are one of my stand outs – a real find. And a real joy to work with.

Thanks to 'The Band' for headlining at Harpenden Carnival 2023. The set was a great mix of records to create a fun atmosphere, flawlessly executed and the crowd didn’t want to leave! Bob was a pleasure to deal with, and the whole band were very professional.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

We regularly get comments about the quality of our musicianship but mostly it is the way we ensure to keep the crowd on the dance floor all night and create a great memory for all our clients!

WOW! so many to mention but a few of the more notable venues include: Claridges - London The Grove Hotel - Watford Sidley Austin Rooftop - City Of London Tatton Park - Manchester

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

As a band our favourite gigs are playing festivals. This year we will be the main support band for Sister Sledge, Peter Andre, Blue and Scouting For Girls at various Foodies festivals around the Uk playing for crowds of 4000+ Our drummer Gareth has supported the Foo Fighters at the Olympic Park playing to a crowd of 80,000

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Our line up is generally the same with the only exception of our drummer. Gareth is also the drummer for 'Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes' so its often on tour. We have a list of industry professional drummers to cover for him in that scenario. Bob, the lead vocalist will always be singer.. He has only missed 1 gig in 20 years due to contracting Covid.

Do you have different line-up options?

Our typical line up is our 3 piece band. Guitar/Vocals - Bass Guitar & Drums. We have the option of adding additional musicians on request such as female vocalists, keyboard players etc

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

we pride ourselves on our flexibility and are happy to accommodate to ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. Just let us know and we'll make arrangements accordingly.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Most definitely! this option comes as standard and is included in the price of the band. If you would like a dj set once the band has finished playing then we can also do this. the cost for this service will be an additional £150 per hour.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!”

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We are more than happy for you to choose your favourites from our setlist. We also ask if you have any favourite songs you would like us to play but can't find it on our list then (as long as its material we feel we can do well) we will happily learn it for you.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA and lighting system is included in your quote.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. (as long as its material we feel we can do well) We do not charge extra for this :)
