Northern Quarter

Northern Quarter are BABS (British Association of Barbershop Singers) Youth Quartet Champions. They first met in September 2015 when they were all students at the University of Manchester and sang together in ‘Mantunian Way’, the university barbershop chorus. Despite various geographical setbacks, they have been singing together ever since. They pride themselves on not taking themselves too seriously – they are always looking at ways to improve, and love getting coached, but their main aim is always to have fun, both on stage and in rehearsals. In July 2019 they travelled to Salt Lake City, Utah, to represent BABS at the Barbershop Harmony Society’s International Convention.
