Super welcoming staff with a s/o to Bea and Martin....but the gold comes from the ultra talented Norman on keys...funny as a pair of chocolate underpants but a voice that would melt steel. BEST Bar in St. Maarten! Review of Sopranos Piano Bar Reviewed 4 May 2017 via mobile We visited St. Maarten this weekend and decided to stop by Sopranos Piano Bar for a quick drink before moving on to check out some other bars. Well, at least that was the plan. Once inside, we immediately felt at home. The bar has a fun and relaxed vibe with tons of personality. I have to credit the OUTSTANDING staff of Tom and Elisa for this feeling. It's rare when bartenders instantly feel like old friends - but that's exactly what happened here. We couldn't stop laughing and talking with them, and what was supposed to be "just a quick drink" turned into our only stop of the night. The incomparable Norman Levene was on piano, and combined with the perfect team of Tom and Elisa, they made sure that everyone in the bar was having a great time as if this was their own personal party. There are too many bars in St. Maarten that have no personality and no customer service. This isn't one of them. Save time... skip the others and go straight to Sopranos Piano Bar! What if my timings change after I've booked you?

No problem. I'm very flexible and can easily adapt to time changes which can always be expected.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes. We can discuss what type of inter-set music you prefer.

How much time do you need to set up?

If I bring my own P.A. system, then I need an hour minimum. If I just bring my piano and drum machine, I usually need 20 minutes, depending on how well the venue has its own setup.

If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?

Always. Provided that the keys all work and none of them stick. I would ask what piano you have. Certain brands are not very good for live performance.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes.

Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?

I have my own full setup, including piano, Piano Shell. P.A. system and drum machine. The price of the gig will be affected by this. I will need to hire a van if I bring my piano shell and P.A. which adds approx £150 to the overall price.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

I'm not Classically or Jazz trained, but I am great at learning songs by ear and more than willing to learn songs in advance.
