Thank you Norma for playing my private party. You were amazing! You communicated really well in the build up and made it really easy and stress free. On the night you set up with no fuss at all and once playing you really got my party going. You choose a real variety of songs that appealed to the different age ranges. Thank you also for learning one of my personal favs for the evening! You sounded fantastic!

I popped down to my local pub at the end of September as they were hosting an End of Summer gathering. Norma played such a cool set with a variety of tunes perfect for a Sunday Afternoon in quiet sunshine. The band have a great vibe together. The singer talked a little bit here and there, inviting us into their world, and she had beautiful vocals too. It really was the best way to spend an afternoon.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Liv's beautiful soulful voice! The upbeat fun vibe we bring. The fact we are a genuine band who always play together, rather than session musicians put together for events.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

We bring many different influences to our sound. Liv is heavily influenced by soulful female singers such as Amy Winehouse, Adele, Etta James, Raye, Lady Gaga. Andy loves interpreting electronic dance beats into his acoustic kit. Jon loves melodic guitarists such as Dave Gilmour and Kyriakos loves rock bass but also the traditional Greek music from home.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

In terms of size, probably the corporate event last December (Xmas dinner) in Ipswich, to approximately 1000 guests.

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Absolutely, Liv is at the heart of Norma and is guaranteed to be the singer at your event.

Do you have different line-up options?

We like to stick to our four piece (Vocals, guitar, bass and drums) for your event as we are a genuine band who are all close friends. Unlike some function bands, where some of the musicians will meet for the first time at your event, we always play and rehearse together, as such you will get a tight and warm performance from us.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know, I'm sure we will be able to accomodate.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely we can play music (of your choice) through our PA before we start and in-between sets. We are very happy for you to provide the playlist, or we can make one for you. This service is free of charge, however, If you would like the music to continue after we have finished then we do charge an additional £100.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We are very happy for you to choose songs you would and wouldn't like from our set-list. We are also happy for you to request a few tracks, as long as you give us enough advance warning to learn them thoroughly so we can do them justice at your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA and lighting system is included in your quote

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes, we are very happy to learn a special song for a first dance or other occasion. Please give us at least a months notice so we bring our meticulous and professional approach to get it right.
