Customer questions

Can you perform covers?

Yes, no problem. We have a wide range of Pop/Rock Covers through the decades we're happy to perform, in addition to the traditional Ceilidh music.Please see our Song List on our Encore profile. We can also add new Songs if given enough time to do so.

Do you have different line-up options?

Yes, we can be a 3, 4 or 5 piece line up depending upon your requirements & musician availability.The bigger the line up, the bigger the fee.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

CDs can be played at 30 mins band break, this is free. Let us know when booking if you require this service?You can also bring your iPod with phono leads to plug into our PA. If you add our Full Disco after final band set, we provide this for an extra £200.”The band/disco is normally a 5 hour 30min booking from 7.30pm-1am. Sets for both can be discussed.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1 hour before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide background music via playing CDs or if you bring an iPod with audio phono plugs you will be able to play your playlist through our PA.Please inform us if you would like to have either of these services done beforehand?

Do you provide a caller?

“Yes we do! We have a fantastic experienced dance caller as part of our Ceilidh band who can call & demonstrate all the Ceilidh dances on the dance floor prior to the band playing the music.Thus ensuring that all your guests can participate in the dancing.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event. See our Song List on the Encore Profile.New Songs can be added on request.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA) included in your quote?

Our PA system is included in your quote. If booking the full disco as well, full disco equipment with lights will be provided.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £30 for this service to take into account [1]rehearsal times & [2] as we work with midi files/backing tracks they may also need to be sourced & purchased by the band.

We provide a full on lively energetic performance by the Scottish/Irish Ceilidh music we perform.With the Cover & Folk Songs we have 2 Male Singers who cover a wide range of songs & styles.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

We played at the Wedding of Stefan Dennis, actor in TV Neighbours,Footballers Wives etc. We also played at an event for the TV Programme Outlander as a 5 piece line up.Three of the actors spoke at the end of the evening.This is on one of our videos which you can watch on our profile.
