Norfolk Court Duo

The Norfolk Court Duo was formed in May 2019 by Mike Anning on alto saxophone and Matt Hollick on double bass. Mike and Matt are both currently studying for a masters degree at the Royal Academy of Music and have recently graduated, with first class honours, from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. We have had success playing at restaurants and events across Birmingham, for the last couple of years, including Aston Villa Football Club, where we played for their share holders dinner; Marco Pierre Whites' restaurant where we performed for dinner guests on a Friday evening and the Cheltenham Jazz and Literary Festivals, where we also played for festival goers and private clients. More recently we have enjoyed playing in central London for private members clubs such as the Home Grown Club in Mayfair. For our performances, we play standard jazz repertoire that is perfect for creating a relaxed and sophisticated vibe for your venue or event.
