About Noa

Harpist
Bicester
Public liability insurance of £10 million

Noa is a harpist, based in Oxfordshire, with several years of experience playing at weddings, functions, orchestras and recording sessions throughout England and Wales. She covers the UK and international locations. As well as performing, Noa teaches the harp to people of all ages and abilities. Weddings: Noa provides live music for ceremonies (including the guests’ arrival beforehand), the drinks receptions, the wedding breakfast and even during the first dance! She has various price packages to suit every part of your wedding and accommodate different budgets. She has recently been featured on Season 1 of "Ultimate Wedding Planner" on BBC and played at a destination wedding in the South of France! Events and Corporate Functions: She provides live background music for a range of functions, most notably London fashion week and Annabel's (a private member's club in Mayfair, London). The Harp is suitable for any event from a suprise birthday party to playing at luxury events. Music: Music choices are catered to each client based on their personal preferences. They can choose from an extensive repertoire list or they can request songs that are not on there. Upon consultation, short samples can be sent to clients so they get a taste of what their requested songs will sound like on the day. She can also guide clients in their music choices by suggesting music that will suit their event.

Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

The unique ambience of relaxing harp music but also the versatility of the instrument - clients love that I can play so many different genres on the harp!

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

The Grove, Annabel's Private Member's Club (Mayfair), Beaufort House, Blenheim Palace, The Waldorf Hilton, Froyle Park, Reuben's Hotel (next to Buckingham Palace), The Bodleian Libraries (Oxford), The Ashmolean Museum (Oxford), Woolf Gallery, Luton Hoo Hotel, The Royal Albert Hall, The Wales millennium centre (Cardiff), The Barbican, The Royal Festival Hall

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Amy Turk, Catrin Finch and Florence and the Machine

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

London Fashion Week (September 2019 and February 2020) The Christmas Facade Launch at Annabel's (November 2023)

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try my best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know as soon as you can.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually set up about 1 hour before the performance time. I may take longer to set up if I need to replace strings (this means tuning may take longer), or park my car if there is no nearby parking.

Is the transport of your harp included in your quote?

Absolutely - I will include all travel costs, including the transport of my harp, in the quotes. If the journey is longer than originally quoted, I will update the quote to show the right amount.

Do you need any equipment provided to play outdoors?

None at all - my instrument is played acoustically so I don't need any equipment. When the harp is amplified, my PA system is wireless. However, I will need a flat surface to play on and need full cover if it's raining or to perform indoors or a shaded area if it's hot. This is because my instrument is valuable and could be damaged.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

My set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests have an amazing time. However, I'm definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If a song isn't included in my song list there may still be a chance I already know it. If there is a special song you'd like me to learn I'm happy to do this for you. NB: Please give me lots of notice for special requests!

Noa recently played at our wedding (ceremony and cocktail hour) and was really wonderful! Her playing added the perfect touch to an autumn wedding and we had so many guests gush about the lovely harp music afterwards. All of the pieces she played sounded amazing and it was especially kind of her to take requests (thank you again for playing a Zelda song as a closing piece for us, Noa!). In the lead-up, she always replied promptly and truly made us feel like we were receiving a tailored experience. I'd gladly hire her again for any events in the future and highly recommend her.
