Noa is a harpist, based in Hertfordshire and Cardiff, with several years of experience playing at weddings, functions, orchestras and recording sessions throughout England and Wales. She covers South Wales, the East, South (including London and the home counties) and West of England as well as the Midlands and surrounding areas. Weddings: Noa provides live music for ceremonies (including the guests’ arrival beforehand), the drinks receptions and the wedding breakfast. Events and Corporate Functions: She provides live background music for a range of functions, most notably London fashion week. The Harp is suitable for any event from a suprise birthday party to playing at luxury events. Music: Music choices are catered to each client based on their personal preferences. They can choose from an extensive repertoire list or they can request songs that are not on there. Upon consultation, short samples can be sent to clients so they get a taste of what their requested songs will sound like on the day. She can also guide clients in their music choices by suggesting music that will suit their event.

Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

The unique ambience of relaxing harp music but also the versatility of the instrument - they always love that I can play so many different genres on the harp,!

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

The Grove, Beaufort House, Woolf Gallery, Luton Hoo Hotel, The Royal Albert Hall, The Wales millennium centre (Cardiff), The Barbican, The Royal Festival Hall, Dora Stoutzker Hall (Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama)

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Amy Turk and Catrin Finch

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

London Fashion Week (September 2019 and February 2020)

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try my best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know as soon as you can.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time. I may take longer to set up if I need to replace strings (this means tuning may take longer).

Is the transport of your harp included in your quote?

Absolutely - I will include all travel costs, including the transport of my harp, in the quotes. If the journey is longer than originally quoted, I will update the quote to show the right amount.

Do you need any equipment provided to play outdoors?

None at all - my instrument is played acoustically so I don't need any equipment. However, I will need a flat surface to play on and need full cover if its raining or to perform indoors or a shaded area if it's hot. This is because my instrument is valuable and could be damaged.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

My set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance I already know it. If there is a special song you'd like me to learn I'm happy to do this for you. NB: Please give me lots of notice for special requests!
