Nigel Braithwaite Horn Bio Nigel occasionally gets more than half of the notes right, but these will be in the wrong place. When he is not working with the LSO, LPO, CBSO and Philharmonia - which gives him a lot of spare time - he runs, very slowly, and fails to reassemble old motorbikes. He once appeared on Crimewatch and didn't play the horn for 4 years. He enjoys curries, farting and unleashing his inner Tourettes on random people. He attends more rehearsals than do trombonists. He is a trained lion tamer. In terms of performance, he would be best employed as page turner or playing the horn in something so contemporary (or obscure) that nobody - possibly even the composer - would notice the mistakes of which there would be many. Oh, and nothing higher than top line f - f# at a push - and no more than 3 flats or two sharps. A concerto consisting entirely of thunderous pedal notes and the occasional random scale would be perfect....
