Almost from my first stage experience in my preschool graduation, I have been impressed by the power of narrative. I completed my BA in History with a minor in English at the University of San Francisco. I also minored in Music, winning the Rick Robert Award for Outstanding Achievement in Musical Theater before going on to make my operatic debut while pursuing my MFA in Musical Performance at Notre Dame de Namur University. I subsequently appeared as the peddler Lazuli in NDNU's production of L'étoile, in an English translation by Dr. Donald Pippin, continuing to perform musical theater roles as well, including Beth March in the NDNU production of Little Women and Rose Smith in Meet Me in St. Louis with Pacifica Spindrift Players. Mostly recently, I was fortunate enough to receive additional operatic training at the OperaWorks 2016 Winter Intensive, and have had the opportunity to sing in the chorus of several productions of San Francisco's Pocket Opera.
