About Nick

Professional Midlands-based Pianist/Keyboardist/Accompanist/MD
Pianist
Stourbridge
Public liability insurance of £10 million

Having first tickled the ivories over 20 years ago, Nick Jeavons is now a professional keyboards player and tutor, performing across the UK from Plymouth to Inverness and everywhere in between. After somewhat humble beginnings as a boy chorister at his local parish church, Nick has since branched out to all aspects of performance and is available as a vocalist, Musical Director, accompanist, dep or session player. In 2012, Nick joined the band for the UK-touring stage shows 'Vampires Rock' and 'The Meat Loaf Story', playing to venues such as Manchester Opera House, Edinburgh Playhouse and the Liverpool Echo Arena (whilst donned in full vampire make up!), as well as an appearance at the Ballerup Super Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark. Having retired from hauling himself across the country with his vampiric troupe in 2014, Nick can now be found hauling himself across the country with various function bands and has featured for the likes of The Domino Band, Sambuca Diaries Big Band, Nu Soul Generation, The Beat Factor, 12th Generation and Miss Isle. Nick has also appeared on a number of projects with Youth Music Theatre UK, including working as Assistant Musical Director for their production of Not the End of the World at the 2015 Edinburgh Fringe. Nick's career has also taken him to the USA, where he spent 3 summers in upstate New York as Musical Director for the theatre and music programs at Chateaugay Summer Camp.

Even in AOR circles, keyboardists seem to remain the unsung heroes of many an amazing song and I have to highlight Nick Jeavons’ playing here; he doesn’t play fluff or filler, his wonderfully adventurous and varied keyboard licks enhance the feel good factor of all these already 'smile-inducing' songs
