Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?
Always! Natty is the centrepiece of the band and the show we will not confirm a booking until we have confirmed his availability.
Do you have different line-up options?
We mostly go out as a six piece band. We can go out as a seven piece with an extra horn (either baritone sax or trombone). We also offer smaller lineups for a more cocktail sound with piano which we have used for receptions and background functions.
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
Yes we do, we can plug an iPad in to our PA system and play tunes. Our frontman Natty is also a professional DJ with weekly residencies all over London and is a specialist in DJ'ing 78rpm records. His services can be negotiated for a fee as part of the band package.
How much time do you need to set up?
We will need an hour to set up PA system and soundcheck.
Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?
Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event
Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?
Our PA and lighting system is included in your quote.
Can you learn song requests before the event?
If we do not know a song we can take requests but there is a fee involved to do this to account for rehearsal time and costs.
What do your clients love most about your performances?
We love to get the audience going and always get them singing, clapping and dancing. We'll jump in the audience several times throughout the night and get dance circles going and make sure that the audience feels like a part of the performance.
Which venues have you performed at in the past?
The Southbank Centre-London, Secret Garden Party, Wilderness Festival, Boomtown Fair, Twinwood Festival, The St.Regis Hotel-Mumbai, Cafe Amsterdam-Bahrain, Luxury Lifestyle Weekender-Mumbai, Raindance Film Festival-Cafe De Paris-London, Royal Northern College of Music
Which artists have you been most influenced by?
Cab Calloway, Slim Gaillard, Ray Charles, Nat Gonella, Louis Jordan, Duke Ellington, Fats Waller, Lionel Hampton, Louis Armstrong
What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
The 'Luxury Lifestyle Weekender-Mumbai' gig was a collaborative show with famous Indian models walking on a cat walk whilst we performed with GQ magazine documenting the whole performance.
