Started playing the cello on the Junior Strings Project at the RNCM. Continued lessons privately with Chetham's cello teacher Barbara Grunthal, and took part in the Alderley Edge and other local music festivals, winning prizes for movements from the Bach cello suites and the Chopin cello sonata. Participated in the Newnham Chamber Course, Easter 2014, and play in Raleigh lunchtime recitals. Have performed with the Cambridge University String Ensemble and Baroque Ensemble, but particularly enjoy playing with my string quartet (joined the Arcadian quartet in February 2015) and sonatas for cello and piano.
