Naomi Parchment

Naomi Parchment is a young talented musician with the unique skill of raising the tempo of any musical occasion by her ability to call others to worship through song. Born in the West Midlands, United Kingdom but now living in Alabama, United States, Naomi is the eldest child in the family taking that responsibility seriously, she nurtures and protects her younger siblings.Naomi started singing before she could speak. She began piano lessons at the age of 6 years old and always had a love for music. Naomi loves all types of music from R&B/Soul vocalists Brandy Norwood, Jazmin Sullivan and Lalah Hathaway to her favourite gospel artists such as Fred hammond, The Walls Group and LIVRE. Naomi draws from all types of genres especially in the songwriting process. Having studied Popular Music Performance at the Royal Northern College Of Music in Manchester and being able to sing in front of the Grammy award winning group Snarky Puppy. Naomi also gained a BM in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy at Oakwood University in Huntsville Alabama, Naomi has sought to hone her skills in musicianship and performance. In her short life she has performed both at the Houses of Parliament as a part of the Youth Music Voices, she has opened for Tye Tribbett in London 2015 and she has also sung at the prestigious Carnegie Hall as a part of her school’s world renowned choir The Aeolians of Oakwood University. Naomi Parchment is a Praise and Worship Leader for The Oakwood University Church which is broadcasted on the Breath of Life Network all over the world weekly. Naomi has been exposed to and is supported by a lot of US Gospel Artists namely Jason Nelson who described Naomi as “a voice and a heart for this generation” and James Fortune who described her as an “Incredible, awesome woman of God who is so gifted and so talented.”
