Naoise is a Dublin based freelance violinist and teacher working all over Ireland.

Naoise is a Dublin born violinist. He has recently completed a Bachelor of Music Education degree in the Royal Irish Academy of Music and Trinity College Dublin. He majored in violin performance studying with Joanne Quigley and received a First Class Honours. He has a Diploma in Violin Performance (ABRSM). He has received masterclasses with Levon Chilingirian, Tim Vogler, Adrian Levine and Gregory Ellis amongst others. He is an active orchestral musician playing with RIAM Symphony and Chamber Orchestra, Hibernian Orchestra, Orchestra of INYB and the recently formed City of Dublin Chamber Orchestra directed by Gavin Moloney. He recently performed with Camerata Ireland. Freelance work includes playing in orchestras for DU Choral society, Tallaght Choral society, Mullingar and Wexford Choral societies. He also plays in several musicals all over the country each year. Naoise is also an avid chamber musician and plays with Delmaine String Quartet. They recently undertook a small tour in France performing concerts in Paris and Bordeaux. He has also played in many other Quartets, Sextets, a Piano trio and a Clarinet Quintet. He has received coaching masterclasses from the Vanbrugh, Contempo and Vogler Quartets. With a RIAM Baroque group he has received classes from Monica Huggett and Claire Duff. Naoise also has a keen interest in music education and violin pedagogy. He has worked in several Dublin music schools and tutored at various string projects, teaching violin, viola and conducting ensembles, including St. Agnes' Music Project, Crumlin. He is a violin tutor in the St. Ultans Violin Project in Ballyfermot and The Burrow N.S, Sutton. Naoise plays on a violin made by Martin McClean and uses a Gary Leahy bow.
