Nadia Marsh

Nadia and Steve Marsh are both professional classical guitarists living and teaching in Bakewell. As a duo, they regularly perform at prestigious Peacock Hotel (Rowsley) and have given many public recitals. At the age of 12, Nadia taught herself the classical guitar and later studied clarinet, recorder and piano at Trinity College of Music, London and over the years she has been involved in various music groups including orchestras, choirs, recorder groups and chamber ensembles. Shestudied classical guitar in Liverpool with Peter Katona, one half of the world-renowned Katona Twins. Steve studied classical guitar in Chesterfield with Frederick Baker and later with Robin Pearson at the Nottingham Spanish Guitar Centre. As a soloist, Steve has given numerous recitals throughout the UK including recorded and live broadcasts for the BBC and performances in historic venues including Chatsworth House, Bolsover Castle, Wallington Hall and a performance at Hampton Court Palace in front of Tony and Cherie Blair, Sir Cliff Richard, Cilla Black and other celebrities.
