About Mudslide

Mudslide can be booked with the Revelators as a lively and very danceable blues, boogie and classic rock band with a difference!
Guitarist
Oxford

Mudslide Morris and the Revelators have been causing folks to put on their dancing shoes and boogie around the Oxford area for the past couple of years. Mudslide specialises in the kind of infectious boogie beloved of the late great John Lee Hooker and Canned Heat. Add a healthy dose of classics by the likes of the Stones, Led Zep and Hendrix and you’ve got a helluva party! The Revelators consists of Mudslide (vocals, guitar, harp) and the supremely talented Richard Brotherton on vocals, guitar, harp and sax. Providing the infectious rhythm is drummer Neal Thompson and bassist Graham Hooper. What a band!

Words can’t describe how happy this band made me. I keep rewriting this review because I don’t know how to put into words how good this band is. But I'm gonna try! The songs were expertly played to a level I would happily pay to go and see. They made the songs their own with such personality, that all me and my friend could do would be to stare in amazement, dance with the music and watch the members of the band absolutely smash it on their respected instrument / instruments. I’m definitely gonna keep an eye on these guys in the future. I want to seem them again and bring a lot more people to come and experience it as well. Keep rocking dudes!
